New Caledonia- Not Enough Time
We entered New Cal with the Go West Rally run by John and LeAnn Hembrow. We met them in Fiji and liked the way he ran the rally. This leg would get us to the Loyalty island group; which most times are difficult to get to. They being up wind from Nomea the standard port of entry. With rallys, the cost of entry in non traditional places is born by the group, thus making this a sweet bonus of the Go West. As usual, the pictures here tell of our time spent in the most gorgeous country. Sadly, due to wx and visa's we were not able to really meet locals and get a fuller taste of their culture and life. For a little detail, of our visit the blog (sorry I had such a good time there, there is only a couple of posts).
