A Quick Trip
We had a window during Covid that we could get down to Sydney and have a look! We were lucky enough to stop at Irene and Lionel's AirBnB on the way. We met them in Fiji and share some great times with them. They are wonderful people and great hosts should you want a stay out of the rat race. Here is the link to their place.
We had a room near the CBD and thus could walk most places. Many people still had masks on and business' were all too often closed. We tried to get up to the Blue Ridge mountains but during Covid they only opperated on weekends. Our break was going to be over then.
Of course the highlight was the Sydney Opera House. However two further events added some sparkle to our visit. One was the opera singer that was doing a couple of pieces to build more support for her performance at the Opera House, the other was dining at the Sydney Westfield Tower restaurant . A worthwhile trip and one that will travel with us forever.
